Great escape lodge and water park

We were adjacent to the staircase and it was a little loud, even late at night (the hotel has quiet hours starting at 11pm, but my kids are always in bed way before that). While the room was a nice size with great amenities, the room location we got wasn’t optimal. My kids loved having their own private suite. Although there’s an open ceiling and no door to the cabin, it definitely feels like a private space just for the kids.

The Adirondack-themed kids’ cabin has bunk beds and a television. The suite also offers a desk, table, refrigerator, and microwave. The room itself is larger than a standard hotel room and offers a queen bed with a pull-out couch. We arrived at the Great Escape Lodge about an hour before check-in, and while the lobby and check-in counter were crowded, we were able to get right into our room.
